will an s10 haul 2 bikes?

i have a 96 s10, 4.3L, auto, 2wd. ive had one bike in it and it barely feels the weight in it. but idk if it will be able to handle 2 bikes at once. i have a buell blast and a ninja 250. together they weigh only 800 lbs with gear but i need to take them on the highway for a 400 mile one way trip this coming year. just curious if i will have any issues or if you have any tips for hauling weight? (like keep it in drive and not overdrive till im on the highway?) thanks
 
if they have a combined weight of 800 pounds you will be fine. I have had 1400 pounds in a 2.2l 2wd s10. This was more than I should have, but I got where I needed to go no problem.
 
I was pulling my 600 pound ATV on a trailer, with about another 200 pounds of hunting gear in the back of my 05 Blazer 3 weeks ago. I don't have the towing package with the 3.73 final gear ratio, I have the 3.42 and it handled the load pretty well.

You should be fine, I have the 4.3L except mine's a 5 spd manual.
