Here's the deal, these 1TB drives are on sale at the HP website. They're hard drives that can fit into the Pocket Media Drive Bay of certain HP computers. I'd like to get one since it's comparable in price to an internal drive but requires no installation.
The problem is, my computer is a Slimline model s2400z, not a regular Pavillion. My drive says "Pocket Media" rather than "Personal Media" and it looks like the Personal Media drives are a bit bigger. The website says the 1TB Personal Media Drive is compatible with "HP Pavilion PCs with HP Pocket Media Drive bay." However, the only review I can find on Amazon states that it WON'T fit in a Slimline PC.
So which is it? Will it fit or not? I want it to fit inside the port. I'm not interested in using it with the USB cable as an external hard drive.
