I downloaded a few games from yahoo! games, and I think they might have given my computer a virus. I haven't played them for a while, or downloaded any more, but they are still on my computer, which has been fine. Can I play them again, or will that bring back the virus?
I have AVG free edition, and it said that there were no threats found. Is it pretty safe to play them?

My daughter also played games on Max Games. Is it more likely the virus came from there?

Well if you downloaded the games from the official Yahoo website, I doubt they gave you a virus. But, I do believe IF they were the program that gave you the virus, there is a good chance they could put them back on your computer if you run them again. Be sure you have a good anti virus thats up to date, and scan the folder containing the games.

if the game is what caused the virus then playing them will bring it back, i doubt the games from yahoo caused your virus but it is always better to be on the safe side

No, if they really did have a virus, then it would only show up while the program is running, so you would know. But you probably didn't get a virus from them anyway, or if you really did then if you have anti-virus program then that would have gotten rid of them. Either way, you should be fine to play them.
