I discovered this online and it sounds just like where we
are in America right now...

I think we are moving from the apathy stage
to the dependency stage.....

It's simply false that great civilizations have lasted an average of 200 years. If you care about this sort of thing, you might try reading some serious history.
 
Yes, througout history, great civilizations eventually crumble in on themselves. Maybe not for the same reasons, but, climate, greed, Natual disasters, famine, or the lack of competant Rulers, allowing themselves to be overrun by another nation. Even Great Britain, who was once a great power, has dwindled to only owning a few islands. Rome, France, Germany survived many a crash, look what happened in Russia. China also lost out, I think the only one I can think of that has existed and finally become a force to be reckoned with is Japan. WE in America, hav become increasingly lax, we are using technology to do the jobs and work we did by hands. We have become too soft, and are easily persuaded by unscrupulous individuals to do their bidding. It's our own fault. We are doing it to ourselves!

Also have you noticed the coins of our currency are being made with cheaper metals? History has shown that almost every empire has fallen due to inflation and economic collapse.
