I own a 93 Explorer that came with a 4.0 V6 and a Mazda M5OD-R1 tranny with a hydraulic clutch. The block is blown, so I am thinking about doing an engine/transmission swap with an old 5.0 mustang. Will the T5 hook up to the factory transfer case? I would like to keep the four wheel drive. Or is there an adapter that I need. I know that if I am to keep the clutch, I need an external clutch slave cylinder to adapt to my original hydraulic clutch.
