will a sucker fish clean my fish tank?

Oh yea they will!
I have had sooooo many of these things!
And they get pretty big too..the biggest one iv seen was my sisters freinds, it was like 10 inch long. But they get bigger probably..but it took a loooooong time.

A sucker fish will clean your tank walls of algae, but it still poops. Sucker fish often poop more than they clean algae, so your tank needs even heavier filteration. A turtle would probably eat it. Most turtles don't get along with fish very well.

you mean pleco's and catfish and they will most likely clean the walls of your tanks but you still have to clean you fish tank anyway
 
It will clean the tank minimally.. Not enough to make up for the work you still need to put into it...
It definitely will not take the place of a filter especially not in a slider tank..
I wouldn't put a pleco in with turtles anyways.. they might live peacefully for a while but eventually they will eat it
 
ya, mostly at least, they suck to the sides of the tank eating the scum and bacteria, and by doing so they clean the walls of the tank.
