Will a Netgear router be free to go with my Virgin Media Broadband?

My brother has recently went from Sky to Virgin Media because they were charging him alot of money, and he got a FREE Netgear router with it. We didn't get a free router with ours. We've been with Virgin Media for about 3 years now.

lf l ring them, will they give us the Netgear router for Free? Or do we have to pay for it?
