I am a juvenile and I am charged with a violation of probation because I went to a party at night without parental permission. Will a lawyer help me come up with a believable story to help me be found innocent, or would it just be a waste of money?
A lawyer will not help you lie to the court. Your best defense is to tell the judge and your probation officer that you messed up and ask for a second chance. Whether they do or not really depends on the reason you are on probation to begin with and if you have been trying to follow all the rules of you probation in the past.
