Will a front axle from a 1985 Jeep Cherokee bolt up to a 1999 Jeep Wrangler?

Iv got a 1999 Wrangler, and Ive found a 1985 cherokee parts jeep for $400, and Im wondering if it would be worth it.
The axles on my wrangler are kind of shoddy, but especially the front one. Rebuild, or get a used one?
