I bought a new commuter bike, comes with dynamo-powered lights in front and rear, dynamo located in front hub, a wire running up inside the right hand fork. I have suspicions that this will cause interference with a wireless bike computer's sensor as the hub will contain strong magnets and the electric current running in the wire within the fork will also generate a magnetic field, all in the close proximity of the sensor. Just curious if anyone has had an experience with respect to this? I will likely return the bike computer anyway because of the ridiculous (for my bike) distance needed between sensor and magnet (5 mm).
