will a carb off of an 89 jeep wrangler 4.2L work on a suzuki samurai?

i have an 88 suzuki samurai, which is havin the traditional carb problems, i also have an 89 jeep wrangler carb from a 4.2L, i was wondering if i could use that carb on the samurai to hopefully rid myself of the zuki carb
