Will a 700-R4 from a chevy bolt to a 307 Olds engine?

I have an 89 Cadillac that has a 307 olds engine with a weak 200-4R transmission and I would like to know if I can take the 700-R4 out of my totaled 93 Caprice with a 305. I would do a full engine and trans swap but the 307 is carburated and I'd like to keep it that way.
