will a 1000 watt amp and a yellow kicker 12" kill my battery on my 93 celica?

The yellow kicker is the comp, which is only 150w rms. I'm guessing your 1000w kenwood is 500w rms and if you want to keep from burning up your kicker you'll need to run the kenwood at a pretty low level.

I would expect a 93 celica has a relatively small charging system, but still - an amp that size running at that level shouldn't cause it any problems. You could probably even run a pair of those amps without any significant issues.
 
i am running on the stock alternator and i am planning to use one 1000 watt amp kenwood and 1 12 inch yellow kicker, i am wondering if there is anything i can do that's kinda cheap to prevent light dimming and dead battery, don't plan on using while engine is not on and watt amp kit gauge should i get 9 points for best answer
