I'm going to a smaller 3 day anime convention this weekend. I'll be busy with panels and the maid cafe for a lot of it. I get my badge for free because of the cafe and I'm sharing a room so it will only be $20. I know I need food and want some money for souvenirs but I don't have any desire to blow a ton of money on impulse purchases so I don't want to bring a lot of money because then I will spend it. I also need to give money for gas (the convention's a half hour away and we're driving up and home twice) and I don't know how much to give. So what do you think, would $100 be enough for room, gas, food, and souvenirs?
