Wildlife Biologist or Nursing? Confused?

I'm currently taking my pre-reqs for Nursing as it's something I've been planning for the past 3 months.

On the other hand, I've always been curious about wildlife and go out of my way to help when I can. I once saw a Pigeon on the road and picked it up, took it to a vet and they said it was soon to die, so I took it to a secluded park and put it under a tree where it could pass peacefully. I've also done this at a mall in the garage when I found a bird bleeding and nearly dead. It's a natural instinct and I'm wondering if I'm truly following my interests, or if I'm chasing a career (Nursing) because it will provide the things I would like in life?

I would like to help people as well, but I hadn't considered Nursing until a few months ago. My need to help animals has always come first.
I don't know... suggestions?
