Wildlife and Yelowstone

Was in Yellowstone the other day and on the way out just east of Cooke city ran into these bad boys.

Been there done that, I just stopped and shut bike down when about 50 of these beasts came out of the woods. this is Northern BC of Yukon, cant remember

The year we went the rangers passed out pamplets telling how many visitors were gored by the bison every year. Had a close encounter with one myself . Another part of the park had signs saying "no soft-sided camping". It finally dawned on me they were talking about BEARS. Still it was an experiance I'll never forget.

Great pics! I'm not sure, but I think I might have hid behind the bike. Just do not trust wild animals at all. The size of those things means you are nothing more than a rag doll. It had to be fun though. Thank for letting us home bodies in on it.
