wild bytes new address

I hope the wb team get this sorted.
My pc went down just before this happened and when I was up and running I couldn't log onto my favourite site.
Please lmk when this is up again, I'm getting withdraw symptoms here lol.
 
well should be back online soon. Picked a new host and just waiting on getting login details for the servers. They were trying to get me a temp server which they failed to do so, but said the other server would be ready sooner, so why its talking a little longer.


But we should be good to go very soon. Only problem i have is my backup is of 1-20-09. We do backups everyday but been so busy and just never downloaded the newer backups. So some members wont be able to login but we will do open signups again to give them a chance to get back in. The last host said they would send me a copy of everything i asked for, but its been 3 days and still nothing.

Sorry to hear of the problems wild, i was gettting really worried thinkin it was a problem on my end as this site, downforyoutoo.com was saying the site was still up :).

Hope you get the server problems sorted asap.
 
as far as the .org i will have it forward over to the .net so it wont matter. As for the torrents that are seeded on .org they will just have to edit there announce to point to .net or redownload the torrent file.


Ok i pciked up a host today and they cant get me a server that i want setup for atleast 5 to 7 days. He is looking into giving me a smaller temp server for a week so i can get things setup for members to access again, just wont have torrents as this server would not last.


But i will keep this thread updated as i get more info.

Wild (MFBert here) Kind of ironic, are you intrested in that server I offered you not to log ago... :-P Message me for details, I can have it up for you well now... its ready... I will give you the IP and log in info.....
 
Great to hear that WB is going to be back. I was freaking out thinking I did something wrong. I will be waiting patiently. Hope that everything goes well.

the site is back up and running at about 80%. If you can not login come to irc and we can help you out. Also i will be setting up a support email account for login problems.

Wild-bytes.net should be back up this week.

Looking at some host as the one we have now is fucking stupid and now dealing with trying to get my money back for months not used.


But site should be back up in the next 72 hours and fully running with in the week.
