wii update- downloable from pc?

I got a 2gb sd card sitting here with me. is there a way I can update my wii with this or is the only way with a wireless connection.
If so does it have to be wifi or can it be WPA?
 
You gotta go wireless, son. See if a neighboring connection is open for the taking. If not, I'm sure you could snag a wireless router for under $50 (whatever that translates to in Germany's currency)
