Wii owners using a wireless network - Get in here!

Your wireless network, is it set to 802.11G? If so does it work fine? For some reason I'm using a Microsoft wireless router set to 802.11G and it won't work with my Wii. If I set it to 802.11b/g mixed compatible it works fine. Anyone else experiancing this? I want to be able to set it to 802.11G since it's the fastest.

Linksys WRT54G here what the settings are, just opened the box and plugged it in. No problems with Wii Connect

I have mine set to 11 as well, but it was already set at that. Speeds, and signal have been pretty good with the Wii so far. I had someone else tell me they got the best performance on channel 6.

Pretty sure the wii is B-Only. Having your router set to do only G when it can do both seems a bit stupid.

Only problem I ran into was I forgot to add the MAC address to the list of allowed in the router configs. It connected fine by itself.
