The Wii says it supports Dolby Pro Logic II. I went into Wii options and changed it from Steroe to Surround, but it's still outputting in stereo. Any thoughts?

I believe the game has to support it, but on that note, I think every game released so far does. Hell, even Wii Sports uses it.

What receiver are you using?

Because Dolby Pro Logic II is a STEREO SIGNAL that becomes emulated surround. It's not a real discrete surround format. It's old low tech shit, good work nintendo! Not even fucking DD5.1, which has been around for like 15 years. What a joke.

wii is a fucking joke. Thought it would be great, but played it the other day, and disapointed. Most people who play it are saying it is crap.

did you get this data the same way you learned "most people in the military hate Bush"?

you have touches of brilliance sometimes but you make up too much shit to be taken seriously

why?! i mean would you play wii sports or super monkey ball in 5.1???? even madden, you're not even 1st person which makes 5.1 pointless. the only reason why to have 5.1 is to play on 1st person games and movies. the majority of 1st person = fps. fps = sux and belongs on PC

Anyone that signs their posts is a fucking moron, but yes its true going from 360 digital 5.1 to wii nothing. Wow what a difference, its the only strike i have against the wii so far. But hey if i never had a 360 id be very pleased lol.

i think the issue just may be that i have to manually change it on the receiver from stereo to dolby pro logic. I'm so used to my receiver auto detecting, but everything else i have hooked up has a digital signal. this is the first analog signal i have tried.
