Wii, just a gimmick??

theory disproven. this makes for a much more intense gaming experience than ever before. i get much more lost in the land of hyrule than i did playing through it on n64 and on my ds(link to the past). playing tennis is much more fun and realistic than playing it with a regular controller. nintendo knows whats up, and people will soon begin to realize they were jackasses for disreguarding this system, and thinking it will be a joke. you sony and ms fanboys are seriously missing out, and you need to get over yourselves asap and get into a completely different and totally fun gaming experience. you can still keep your other systems, and let them collect dust, as i too will one day have a ps3 and xbox360, but this nintendo system will outlast and outshine the rest. the nintendo wii gets a big fat 10/10, because it stays true to what video games are supposed to be, and that, is fun.
 
While the other two systems will develop better graphics as the next few years go on, the wii also has the bonus of the game creators getting creative with the controller.

I'm looking forward to some epic games on the wii
 
i think FPS games won't be a big hit. just because of graphics. i always play nintendo systems for their multiplayer games and just because they put together the most solid system everytime
 
I have to admit, I tend to lean against Microsoft products, but once I saw a new Nintendo System, last year this time, the "Revolution" had to be mine.

Here I am, a year later, with a Wii, and I can't stop playing it.

I will probably get a PS3 also, just to get all 3, but not until March or April, like I did with my 360.

I am a huge fan of FPS but only for the computer, FPS suck on a console... But not anymore. CoD3 is awesome! Sure the graphics are a fuckload better on my PC but the controller definatly gets me into the game a great deal.

So I can't wait for them to come out with more shooters, because now they aren't limited to guns. They can use swords (Red Steel), chainsaws, machetes, pool cues, anything... I cant fucking wait

Also to OP. The more I play, the more I realize this shit isn't a gimmick. My arms hurt like hell, though.
 
Wouldnt u guys think that more time with the Wii system the graphics could look better to? Like Mario Galaxy it looks like a really clean game.
 
Graphics-wise, we're going to see graphics on par if not better than PS2 and Xbox. Sports is really just a demo game they didn't spend much time on, Zelda was originally created for GCN, and really just a port with control upgrades. I'd venture to say late January through April, we'll really see how this console can do visually.
