I hope Nintendo comes out with one, because that cord makes everything ugly

Plus routing it around shit can be tedious everytime I hook it back up from going to a friends house

9.0 ????Performance
Provided the same accuracy as the official Nintendo Wii sensor bar.

4.0 ????Build Quality
Somewhat roughly contructed in garage-factory style. Critical connections are well soldered, but external aesthetics look homebrew.

9.0 ????Ease of Use
Install a batter, turn on with simple button switch.

6.0 ????Value
$24.99 is a little high considering the simple design and construction.

7.5 ????OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

i've noticed this:
you really don't need it all that much, at least with wii sports. my girl doesn't like using it, she ends up using the directional pad on the wiimote to select things
i wonder if you could go without using it at all
a wireless bar just means that you will have to replace more batteries (or charge them up)
it takes like 3 seconds to throw it on top of the tv and run the wire off to the side
, i really don't have any difficulty with it, other than worrying about snapping it in half or ripping up the wire when i put it in my bookbag

Make your own

Either:
1.) Purchase power source, IR transmitters, and place them correct distance apart.

or

2.) Extend the cable that ships with it, its jsut a power line

or

3.) Do the candle trick
