Wii Crew: Charging station or Rechargeable batteries?

I already went through my third set of batteries, so now I'm looking for an alternative. Should I just go out and buy a rechargeable battery set or should I wait for a charging station? What are you guys gonna do?
 
I keep a 18 pack of double a in the fridge, with a digital camera, the wii remote, other remotes, I burn up batteries a lot

a charge station would be cool
I could probably make one but I'm lazy

That's like ancient technology. I've never had a rechargable batterie that takes longer than 8 hours to charge. Batteries that take as long to charge as they do to run out FTL
 
i cant believe in this day and age people dont have rechargeable batteries

get yourself a good charger and quality Ni-MH batteries and stop throwing your money away.
 
I bought the Duracell recharger kit for like $20 at Wal Mart. It came with four batteries and the recharger. Figured with as quick as the Wiimotes burn batteries, this would be like paying for 2-3 months worth of batteries, but they will last a lot longer
 
To tell you the truth, those were the first ones I saw and I so I grabbed them. At the time I had no clue how fast and/or slow rechargeable AAs were supposed to charge. Now I know...

just buy another set of the batteries instead of buying a new charger. have a set thats always charged, and one set thats in the remote. that way you dont have to take them out and put them back in everyday.
 
I have been using the energizer rechargables they sell in a pack at walmart on my other devices, but they have finally crapped out, so I'm torn between getting another set, or just waiting it out until the charging station comes out
 
Werd, I have 2 sets of 2400s and 2 sets of 2650s

Have yet to tell the difference if 250mAH makes a difference; all I know is they don't last as long as non-recharable AAs

But 15 minute charging is badass
