Anyone have these component cables?

Don't know if they are any good, and I'd rather go into a store and pick them up then order from Nintendo.com

Best Buy has started carrying Wii component cables, which are much cheaper, imo, than the ones at EB/Gamestop. ~$30. I got my Wii "React" VGA cable as an open box item for $9.99.

I bought the Psyclone cables for my Wii at BB. Yea, I paid $50 for em, but I got them that day when they were sold out everywhere (even online).

They work and look great. I have a set I had bought for my PS2 years ago and they never let me down. Now I just need a composite switchbox. I wouldn't mind that Psyclone one, but for $100 it should've come w/cables to go to the TV. You can get them cheap at firefold.com tho.

That's how much I'm gonna have to pay ($50), even if they are official Nintendo ones. Canada prices are too high for this stuff

9.99

12.99

and 24.99

i was going to get the 12.99 but didn't even really know why...i guess they look more legit than the 9.99 ones?

might as well drop the extra 3 since it comes with a warranty

You'd think but I dunno how they do prices on that stuff. And even if I did order the cheaper stuff from the US shipping and handling is pricey and a chance of Customs fees, its just as much as buying it here.

Would these cables make a difference on a non HDTV. I got Sony 60" projection big screen tv, its like 5 years old. Would I see a difference or is it just a waste?

Note: I can see a big color difference on DVDs between component and RCA plugs.

When I went to EB after Christmas to see if they had any cables by then, the sales people tried to tell me the Offical Nintendo cables were 69.99 They were really trying to get me to buy the Mad Catz ones for 60 or 70. Its hilarious how they lie to your face

Well I decided to buy the MadCatz ones. Found them at EBGames for only $25 bucks. Hopefully they are just as good as the $50 ASiD ones.

EDIT: On another positive note, I found out my TV can do 480p!!! After playing Zelda though I almost like 480i, less jaggies haha
