i seriously doubt it... Third parties have been making the damn consol cooling forever. i remember the psx chill stations and all that jive. I had one on my modded psx and it worked okay i guess. but then again that thing ran hot as hell anyways.

Ive left my Wii on for a good 20 hours once, games still ran 100% smooth.

I dont think you need a cooling station for a Nintendo product & I doubt it will prolong its life much.

My wii never gets hot, no way I would consider getting something to cool it. Waste of money and just more noise pollution.

But looking at that "Chill Station", it doesn't mention cooling the wii (apart from the name). It looks like it's just a stand with a "chilled" blue light?

I think they're using the word Chill as in "chill out" or "stand" not as in cooling.

my wii now sits horizontally on top of my tivo...it should overheat, but it doesn't. the wii never really gets all that hot

I've kept my slim ps2 on for over 30 hours at a time doing the GT4 24 hr races, and that thing was hotter than any console or computer I've ever seen, and it was perfectly fine. Those cooling gadgets are complete bullshit and wastes of money.
