Wi-Fi for < $250, sans contract. Does that exist?

I have a Moto V400 clamshell, and I'm looking to replace it. The only feature I really care about beyond the basics is Wi-Fi accessibility. I've done a little research, and discovered that wi-fi doesn't come cheap. Before I really do some digging, I figured I'd ask the experts first. Assuming no other criteria (besides being a GSM phone), is it possible to buy a phone with wi-fi, WITHOUT renewing a contract, for under $250? If so, would you mind posting the names of the phones? I don't need y'all to do my research for me, but I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't mind pointing me in the right direction.

Who is your provider? If you have T-Mobile an HTC Dash off eBay may be an option.$250 is the absolute low-end BIN price for the phone but there are a number of them offered for less than $300.
