Wi-Fi Battery Drain

I measured the current draw of my TX and found that bluetooth takes very little power (a couple ma for a very short pulse every second or so) when ON but not connected. It are not worth turning ON and OFF if you ever use it at all. Just leave it ON. Any gain perceived by having it OFF would have to be imagined. Just as a reference, the TX continuously draws 0.6ma from the battery when it (the TX) is turned OFF.

I did not measure how much current WiFi uses just being ON without being connected (I forgot to do so) however it does seem that my battery life goes down faster when I have forgot and left WiFi ON. WiFi does use an additional 190ma while scanning for an access point, which is getting close to doubling the amount of power being used by the TX.

I've found that turning the WiFi off when your not using it increases the battery life drastically, same thing with bluetooth. Best thing to do would be to probably only turn it on when you need 2 use it, cuz unlike a laptop or computer it connects really quick.
