though hes dead & was exonerated? You look at the fans worldwide (outside the western world); from Asia to Africa to all the poor nations, you see a true sense of respect from their people for the icon. He gave all kinds of people from all kinds of countries hope with his music. He touched so many people with his music, I think western media and people should give him credit for that.

Sure, he was accused of some very horrific and unsavory things. But he was accused, and exonerated. Sure, he was a bit of an oddball with his appearance and habits; but i also believe he had a good heart. I think a lot of people took advantage of him and his money too.
 
OJ was exonerated too. But that just means the system failed and money talks.

And let's face it, Rev. Soleil is right, you don't pay $20 million for something to go away if you're innocent. And what 40-50 yeard old man sleeps with young boys in his bed???
 
Yes, there are a few that will continue to be critical of him. However, I will say this. There are almost 2 million people that are trying to get tickets to his memorial service tomorrow, and if there were a lot of people saying nasty things, there would be no competition for tickets. I think there are a lot of people that have idolized him.
 
His fans are not "critical" of Michael Jackson because they are his FANS and they love him.

The western media is critical of everything because they blow goat.
 
Because people only seem to bltch about "proof" when it comes to gods and never to celebrities. They will believe anything bad that backs up their current belief of someone.
