Why would you buy a new toyota Prius?

The batteries are made in Canada, shipped to Europe, then China, then Japan only to get shipped back to the U.S. Thats a crapload of Diesel fuel used for delivery.

Not to mention the factory in Canada is one of the most polluting plants in Canada.

If you really care about the environment, why would you buy one?

Everyone knows it takes many years for the fuel savings to pay off.

I wouldn't buy one because I'm an enthusiast, but can anyone explain to me why...lets say my mother wants to buy one. Im not trying to be a cock, just curious.

Because people have been BRAINWASHED into thinking that Toyota is some kind of car god. The only hybird I would buy is the new fusion. But I am a purist. Only big block carbuated straitpiped for me... or a F450.

You also forgot to mention that the pruis is ugly and costs to much. When you buy a Prius you buy a nameplate and the image that you are so ecofreindy
