Why would you buy a Dodge Charger?

The guy I just started dating owns a black Dodge Charger. Are they fast? From what I hear they are expensive too. Why would you buy a Charger instead of say, a Lexus or Audi? Like what are the pros?

Just curious.
 
The Charger used to be something big back in the 70's, but now they're just a sporty sedan. As to if they are fast or not is an opinion. Nothing compared to a Ford Mustang or the Dodge Challenger. And as for Lexus and Audi, Lexus is a pile, and Audi is simply great. Drive what you like i guess.
