why would the cop who arrested me tell me to plead not guitly in court?

i was a party a couple months back
got arrested and charged with internal possesion of alcohol and resisting arrest and then tells me and 3 other people to plead not guilty in court.
we are minors as well.
why would he tell us to do that and what is usually the outcome
 
That is very strange behavior. You should bring this up with a lawyer.

I don't believe the police officer is allowed to give you legal advice of this kind.
 
He cant tell you how to please

what an idiot he just gave you a loop hole tell your lawyer and before you know it the charges will be dropped
