Why would my friends restaurant go broke?

My friends, a very nice couple I know opened a brand new restaurant in a city of 70,000 people and closed only after 3 months. the economy there isn't that bad, in fact the other restaurants are doing ok. Somebody told them they should have used a commercial name for the place instead of their names. The called it "Sam n' Ellas"

Do you think a restaurants name would have anything to do with it?
 
A lot of things happen in that type of business
Restaurants are extremely hard to keep open and it is really tough work.
I really don't think the name had much to do w/ it

Could have been the location, atmosphere, food, advertising, specials or no specials, and even just peoples finiky ways

You never know but sorry to hear
