Why would my dog be hiding and whining?

My dog has been hiding lately under her favorite chair and she will grunt or whine for what seems like no reason,, when she does come out she sits or lays by her bag of dog food and growls whenever our husky comes by the food, she eats good food and is 65 pounds lab and pit mix fully trained and eats 3 1/2 cups of food a day , 5 days ago she did get into the trash and ate chicken bones , she hasn't had diarreha or any other symptoms of being sick
