He stated at the time that He did not earn $250k a year, but that he hoped that someday that He would earn that much money. I guess you don`t have the facts, again.
I guess Joe's question was a rhetorical one.
And Obama was answering Joe's SECOND QUESTION which was "Do you support a flat tax" to which Obama said, the US has had a graduated income tax schedule for a long time - to "spread the wealth around,"
He was stating a fact! Not saying he wanted to raise anybody's taxes or turn us into a socialist State like morons are claiming based on this one thing!
