Why would Blood Type AB be used as an example of codominance?

because
codominance is when both traits appear
on type A blood, there is protein A,
on type B blood, there is protein B
on type AB blood, there is both Protein A and protein B

I have to know this for a big exam tomorrow, so if you could help out at all I would really appreciate it
