Why would anyone think Sharon Osbourne can present a TV programme?

From a dodgy background, famous for managing a recovereing druggy/alcoholic who can't/could never sing - Ozzy was only made famous by his drugged and drunk "fans" who couldn't tell what planet they were on!!

Raising a brood of disrespectful bratty kids with bad attitudes and being basically totally talentless and nasty.

How do people like her get on? It's a joke:confused:
 
it isnt in the slightest bit true. you dont need to be a fan to appreciate what black sabbath done for the metal scene.
they dont call ozzy the godfather of metal for nothing.
saying the only reason he is known is because of drink and drugs is completely ludicrous.
post a thread on the music forum and say that ! see what kind of response you get, i can assure you now it will not be good and they will be right to laugh at your thoughts.

and people can be influential whether or not they are actually liked by someone.

She really is dire. In some ways it would be useful if there was an audition show for TV presenters, that way all the rubbishy ones would be weeded out.

If there was an X-FACTOR programme for TV presenters she wouldn't make it past the first audition. What on earth were ITV think of? This woman is DIRE.

In my opinion, because "it's just telly."

As far as all TV channels are concerned, they believe "anyone can present" and it's pretty much true. As long as the public like them, they'll put up with any of their inadequacies, they don't care. It really doesn't matter as long as people watch the programme. There's no "points" to be won.

It isn't anymore, as some on here would have you believe, close to; "rocket salad."

A good comparison is estate agents. In the past they needed be a "qualified valuer " now they just need to be able to sell houses whether they have the current "in-house" qualifications or not.
Same with presenters, they don't need years of training, just need to be able to muddle through. If they can "remember their lines and not bump into the furniture" it's an added bonus.
This morning, on "Country Tracks" you've got Jodie Kidd "presenting" for crissakes.

What more evidence does anyone need?

She's a well known name among the "target audience" and a lot of people will like her, enough "qualifications" for the job.
