Why would anyone become a pornstar if they have college degree?

some very few pornstars possess college degrees, so then whats the point of being a pornstar? its very nasty and dirty work, not to mention the risk they expose themselves to by having unprotected sex --- HIV, STDs, etc etc.
several pornstars have gotten HIV infected in recent years. It is not true that there are no STD's in north American porn. John Holmes was an example and even in mid 2000's some pornstars got HIV. There is indeed a risk
 
porn pays a hell of a lot of money
and if you are in the porn industry then you are more than likely CLEAN...or else you wouldn't be able to get work anywhere...producers test their people before they shoot...its a horrible way to exploit yourself, but the risks to your health are minimal and the money is unlike any other

a college degree doesn't mean you have a good paying job. just because you finish school doesn't mean that people are hiring...so sometimes you are jobless and now have thousands and thousands in student loans to pay back.
