I'm not saying the american healthcare system is awful and sucks, far from it. There are definite benefits to both. Still, I'd prefer a system like ours to one like the states for the aforementioned reasons
and if you have kiRAB, how much is cobra for you and kiRAB? probably as much as your unemployment benefits, so it's either insurance or food and somewhere to live
We also pay out the ass for alcohol, cheapest 12 pack you can find will run you about 15 bucks roughly. I always see people here talking about paying far less for more.
look I'm not some crazy republican whack job who hates any and all social programs but I feel like we've been far to generous with those that we have. Like unemployment benefits for 99 weeks? If you can't find any job in almost two years your fucking doing it wrong.
I have no problem with welfare, food stamps etc but I think the length of time you can receive them neeRAB to be cut back. I know people fall on hard times sometimes and there should be a safety net but it shouldn't be a socialistic approach to everyone being taken care of all the time. There neeRAB to be incentive to get people to fend for themselves.
They will be paying more but there are numerous children's hospitals like Shriner's that will treat children at no charge.
With the new healthcare law in the US, the parents now have to purchase insurance anyway (unless it is overturned) or pay a fine close to 1,000 a year if they don't to the FeRAB.
its funny when canadian people try to argue that canada is superior or equal to the us because no matter how hard they try and no matter how logical some of their arguments might be they just come off as having a huge inferiority complex
Nah they are obese, you're thinking morbidly obese which isn't even that large.
If you are thinking of land whales that's completely different, I haven't exactly toured the entirety of both countries to do a count on land whales but I'm sure the US is ahead but we're definitely trying to catch up.
Stronger economy, stronger currency, much higher quality of life, better healthcare system, not as populous, people and overall culture is much more polite and it isn't being taken over by Mexicans.
