a clean record? I am 20 and this is my first time stealing clothes worth 200 dollars they found them in my perse. However i have been arrested for having an open container of alcohol in february. This the only thing on my record. I dont know if i should just plead guilty and try to persaude the judge in not giving me a misdemeanor because im a straight A college student. Or should i hire a lawyer who says he will be able to fight my case as NOT guilty.. which i dont understand why?.. and that he has a 95% rate of winning these cases...
Why would a lawyer tell me to plead NOT guilty?..do i have a chance to keep
