Why wont this audio from itunes import to windows media player?

so what do i do
it keeps saying

The file C:\Users\Lauril\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music090627 000413.m4a cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

You can't use itunes music in windows movie maker because apple is rude. If you want to be illegal (although you paid for the damn song so I find it "legal") Then burn a cd in itunes with the music you want to use and then rip those songs off of the cd in windows media player.

try converting the file to mp3 if it already isnt. if it is and it still wont work then i dont know what to tell you.
