Why Won't PHP Work On My Computer?

I am using Abyss Web Server to host my site.
I followed the instruction Abyss Web Server's site gave me to install PHP http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html

PHP is on my computer but it doesn't work. WHY?!
 
Could be a number of things in the apache server settings.
As a humble recommendation, wipe out your Abyss installation, and install XAMP for windows (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html)
it's free and will have your php install working right out of the box.
