Why won't Photoshop CS3 open my files?

So I started working on a project at school on Photoshop CS3 on a Mac. I wanted to bring the files home to show some friends and when i tried to open them, on Photoshop CS3, on a PC running Windows XP, wont open them. When i click on properties and look at file type, it says it is called "File". Does anyone know how to fix this? Any questions just comment I will answer.
 
maybe it is missing an extinsion. Do you remember what you saved it as? probably a .psd. Try adding .psd to the end of the filename and see if it will open.
