Why wont my wireless headset on my xbox360 work?

I bought my wireless headset today, i let it charge for 6 hours for a full charge and the light wont even blink. i tried to turn it on and it wont. Why?
i put the USB port in all ports in my xbox360 and in the back of the headset. Why wont it work?
 
You might have even over charged it it happens to me sometimes. you charge it to long and it just dies.Also were is your power supply hooked up is it hooked up into your wall or an outlet power cord because outlets provide less power the a wall outlet
