Why won't my Sanyo Zio phone activate?

It just portd over from tracfone today and the customer service couldnt figure out the problem.They had me manually type in some code to set my call number and MSID. They said it would restart and but it didn't program itself! Now it's "escalated" and could take up to 3 days more. I wanna use my phone is there anything I can do? :/
