why wont my rockford fosgate T400-2 work?

We had it hooked up today, battery, perfect ground, subs wired right, RCA cables put in right everything but it wasn't puttin any sound into the subs, we adjusted that gain and what not but still nothing, then the LP HP & AP switch still nothing, we ran voltage tests and they all passed with ease nothing wrong with them, I had someone tell me it needed to be on LP to run the subs but we put it on that not very long just kind flipped the switch from top to bottom quickly so idk what to do please help
