I have 2000 mazda Mpv.It runs great,no check engine light.It passed DMV inspection for safety but wont pass for emmissions because it fails to connect to test equiptment at DMV. Replaced all fuses,I know that if a fuse is blown it sometimes does not connect.I had a mechanic replace the OBD2 plug.Still no results. It is odd because it connects with a hand held scanner at both mechanic shops.I even bought a scanner and it connects. Has anyone had something like this happen to them? or even heard about this type of trouble? I think I should try rerplacing the ECU ECM but hesitate because like I said it connects with other scanners...
