However, what is happening is whenever I eject device from laptop and go into Menu to see if anything is on Ipod, it's completely empty, but I plug it back into laptop via USB, all the songs show up and they play. Weird. Now, I will say this a lot of the songs came from Bear-Share, but I realized that obviously that was a problem, so I uninstalled Bear-Share which meant that now the albums and songs could no longer be played, so I erased everything I got from Bear-share and I just added songs from the cds in my Windows Media Library. Still, songs, artists, album, music, videos, nothing shows up on Ipod whenever it is ejected. Funny thing is that when Ipod was first given to me, it had about 400 songs on it, but it was music that I didn't like at all, so I called myself clearing those songs and starting over. Please help. I just want to listen to my music. I have to use public transportation in my city and when I'm on the bus, I don't care to talk to anyone. I just want to enjoy my music on my Noise reduction earphones and my Ipod, tuning everyone else out. Oh by the way my laptop is a Sony Vaio VPCEE Series with Windows 7. I've even plugged it into my old desktop computer which has Windows XP Professional and songs show up in Computer but not on device. Oh, one more thing, I almost forget, on the Sony laptop, I notice that the files (song, artists, album names have red marks by them).
