I am using a 37 inch LCD TV with HDMI. The games themselves work perfectly but they won't play the maximum resolution (the ones that support 1080p). The settings cover every resolution. On the XMB it say 1080p when I press the OK button on my TV controller. When a put in a 1080p game like Assassin's Creed II it won't go to 1080p, it just stays on 720p. 10 points to most informative answer.
Why won't my games play in their highest resolution?
