why wont my car start?

Ok so i have a 1988 Firebird 5.7 TPI.....my car will turn over a little but but wont start....i thought it was the battery so i bought a new one and it did the same thing the next night....i had the alt and starter tested at Autozone and they are both good....i can get the lights to come on but nothing else....also it will start on a jump but when it let it sit for a few mins it dies....any clue what it could be? ( It also has new spark plug, wires, coil, dist cap)
