Why won't my car radio stay tuned? (second opinion)?

My car radio won't stay tuned. Periodically jumping from say 91.5 to 91.3 or 91.7. It's always a jump of about .2, if you know what I mean. someone told me yesterday it could be a PLL chip (?) and that I should probably replace the radio entirely... Sounds fair enough, but before I spend the money wanted to see if anyone concurred with that and whether they thought that would fix this problem. So, if you know anything about car stereos and problems such as this, I could use your help.

Here's my set up: 2005 Toyota Corolla, Have a Sirius Starmate 4 that I'm using the FM transmitter to transmit onto the car radio. It jumps periodically and sporadically. Maybe 10 times in a 45-minute trip or just once in a 15-minute one. But still annoying and still not right.

The Best Buy Geek Squad guy said he'd never heard of a problem like this -- ever !
